Re: Twister Program Update to 7.3.2
Mab69, i don't know what to say... Clean windows on different systems and still BSOD? You 're very unlucky... Or there is a common driver between the 2... Miyagi, if you have the time, do try. In my case, my motherboard came with audio drivers Realtek HD 1.43. I finally found stability with driver v...

Re: What security software do you use with Twister?
Changed to Twister + PC Tools firewall 3.0.1.14 (without Enhanced bugs...errr...security) + PG Free (a most basic classical HIPS approach, mainly to be sure no new exe will run without my approval and to be sure my apps aren't modified or killed. Simple but produces very few pop ups) + Sandboxie (br...

Re: Twister Program Update to 7.3.2
Folks, if i were you, i 'd try one more thing, if you haven't already tried it. Update all drivers (motherboard, audio card, video card, etc). I mean, my problems on XP SP3, disappeared when i found the "good audio driver". If Twister was an application that doesn't tollerate well other security pro...

Re: Twister Program Update to 7.3.2
Hi Fuzzfas, Thank you for your help and advice but with or without OA, i have the same fatal BSOD, even deactivating Twister self protection or installing it on a fresh install Remember one of the first thread about Twister at Wilders : http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=208887&page=3 ...

Re: What security software do you use with Twister?
In real-time, I only run Twister and MalwareDefender. Plus, all my network-facing apps automatically run in Sandboxie. Well, you don't need more. Right now i use a similar setup. Twister + Comodo firewall + Sandboxie. Although i must say, that i do miss Threatfire a bit from my previous setup. I do...

Re: Welcome to Twistees
Bellgamin, i kept wondering WHY aren't you here ??? It would not be the same without you. In deed. Bellgamin is an example of how one can be pioneer at any age. One of the first Twistees (and inventor of the term no less), ready to walk on the path towards the glory of Twister in the future AV mark...

Re: Propose enhancements for Twister!
And can there be a silent mode when the Updater initiates. It's nice to see the notification near the tray icon but if you are doing a Powerpoint presentation, pop-up like that is unnecessary. Have another checkbox to be quiet perhaps. Miyagi, you get a pop up?? Then disable the Filseclab Messenger...

Re: PCSL Total Protection Testing Report (2009 NO.1)
I am gratified by TAV's excellent detection rate, although a tad surprised at TAV's zero FPs. I am quite sure that there weren't many clean files or Twister would have really flagged FPs. I mean, if you looked at Wilders' all 170 Gimp's plugins were flagged as Zhelatin! Seeing Twister with 0 ...
